Product Introduction
The material of dust collector bags is cloth or felt woven from synthetic fibers, natural fibers, or glass fibers. The cloth or felt is then sewn into cylindrical or flat filter bags as needed. Filter materials are selected based on the properties of the flue gas.
Typically, when the flue gas temperature is below 120°C and the filter material requires acid resistance and durability, polyester fleece and needle-punched polyester felt are commonly used; for high-temperature flue gas (<250°C), graphitized glass cloth is mainly selected; in some special cases, materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, PPS, P84, DWD, PTFE, FMS, and basalt filter materials are used. Controlling the speed of flue gas passing through the filter material (called filtration velocity) during the operation of baghouse dust collectors is quite important. Generally, the filtration velocity is set to 0.5-2 m/min, which can achieve an efficiency of over 99% for particles larger than 0.1 μm, and the equipment resistance loss is approximately 980-1470 Pa.
