Industry Status
Water is used in all aspects of people's lives, and wastewater is ubiquitous in industrial production and processing. The presence of wastewater has a very serious impact on people's lives, and an even greater impact on their physical health. For the sake of the Earth's environment and better living conditions for people, wastewater treatment has become an urgent issue—and the accompanying problem of waste gas treatment from wastewater ponds has also become an important task.
Waste gas from wastewater ponds is the odorous gas generated during wastewater treatment processes (such as sedimentation, air flotation, aerobic treatment, anaerobic treatment, and biological treatment). Its main components include hydrogen sulfide, methane, methyl mercaptan, non-methane total hydrocarbons, etc. This waste gas has a strong odor and contains a large amount of toxic and harmful gases.
Solution
To address the urgent issue of wastewater pond waste gas treatment, Sunbo Environment has adopted targeted measures. The main treatment targets for wastewater pond waste gas are hydrogen sulfide and non-methane total hydrocarbons. The main process used is a washing tower combined with a photo-catalytic oxidation waste gas treatment device:
- First, the wastewater waste gas is pretreated by the washing tower to remove water-soluble waste gas components.
- Then, the photo-catalytic oxidation waste gas treatment device processes the toxic and harmful gases in the wastewater pond waste gas, ensuring compliance with the national second-level discharge standard (GB16297-1996 Integrated Emission Standard of Air Pollutants
- Finally, the up-to-standard gas is discharged through a fan.
