Industry Status
The printing industry is closely related to people's lives, but it also brings numerous harms—especially in terms of the environment, which affects everyone's healthy life.
According to testing, printing waste gas is mainly generated by ink solvents. Its main components include toluene, benzene, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, 200# solvent oil, ethanol, butanol, etc. The ink used mainly contains colorants, resins, solvents and auxiliary agents. The waste gas is mainly emitted during the processes of ink application, drying and compounding; the volatile organic solvents are the main source of waste gas pollution. Printing waste gas has complex components, a strong odor, and is flammable and explosive. If discharged without purification, it will cause significant harm to the surrounding environment.
Solution
To address the various harms caused by the current printing industry, Sunbo Environment continues to break through technological constraints and improve the management of printing waste gas in a more scientific and convenient way.
The printing waste gas solution mainly targets the treatment of ethyl acetate waste gas, non-methane total hydrocarbons, etc. The main process adopted is a washing tower combined with a photo-oxidation waste gas treatment device:
- First, the printing waste gas is pretreated by the washing tower to reduce its concentration.
- Then, the photo-oxidation waste gas treatment device processes the toxic and harmful components in the waste gas, ensuring compliance with the national second-level discharge standard (GB16297-1996 Integrated Emission Standard of Air Pollutants
- Finally, the up-to-standard gas is discharged through a fan.
This solution resolves the pollution and harm of printing waste gas to the atmospheric environment, ensuring the coordinated development of the industry and human life.
